We had a full day this Sunday. First we had our neighbors over for lunch. We’ve wanted to have them over for lunch for years but there was always something. Well, we had them over and had a great time. Course to pull this off we had to clean the house, prepare a real meal (as opposed to the “meals” I put together) and get the kids ready for church – all this morning.
As soon as our neighbors left we started preparing for the Superbowl party. Again my wife put together chilli, queso, cookie cakes (2) and Green Bay Packer themed rice krispie treats and went shopping. Anyway, my wife is awesome. She did all of this despite working yesterday and kept a great attitude and was an excellent host. This and she even let me take a nap today.
Yes, all you guys can be jealous. Because like I said my wife is awesome.
Course, I suspect many of you guys have awesome wives as well. And like the Steelers, 2nd place is quite admirable.
