Tonight I’m taking a Mulligan.
Tenacity versus Stubborness. Confidence versus Pride. Honesty versus Indiscreet. Sympathy versus push-over. Insightful versus nosey.
There’s an interesting thing about character traits. Every positive character trait at some point becomes a character weakness if taken too far.
I want so much to complete my resolution of writing every day in the month of February (tenacity) but what if my determination to complete this resolution gets in the way of me obeying God?
I believe God told me clearly in December that I was to work on and finish one of my scripts, and while I have been working on it, I’ve spent far more time on this blog in the last 2 weeks. So tonight, I’m making an addendum to my resolution. I’ll first obey God, and if there is time for this blog then so be it. If there is no time then this Mr. Mulligan is going to have a lot of company.
