The following are some scripts I wrote for a variety show that
I would still love to produce... eventually.
You Have Visitors:
This script is the most polished and was a finalist in Regent's
short film production cue. Instead of making this Regent chose (wisely)
to fund my friend's, John Strong, script White American Jesus -
which I produced with John as director. I enjoy this satire simply
for its reversal. I would love to say I am a strong proponent for
the elderly, but I'm just a hypocrite.
When the Sound of Music
Faded: I don't whether this is creative, funny, or just plain
stupid. But having just read it after four years in the archive
I thought it was funny... and stupid.
Radical Dieting for a Radical
Change: My favorite satirical script. Unlike visitors I do feel
strongly that the media promotes an unhealthy body image to women
in our society and creates an obscene fantasy in men's minds. The
end result? Well, read this script; it is a sybolic view of our
society's self destruction.
Satan Boe: Another of these
scripts I find funny, but I'm obviously not objective. This is a
sequel script for a video project John Strong wrote and we both
starred in: The Anti-Pro Satan Club.
Been: I don't know if this is
as deep as it seems. Its kinda like abstract art. People ascribe
to these abstractions more meaning then they deserve. I remember
working on this but the document says John Strong wrote it - either
way we both had a hand in it.
Yoga101: This was written
by me, so I publish it. Notice: I have no good reason to do so.
Reader beware.
The Rupture: You can't
accuse me of being a rapture obsessed Christians, since I don't
believe in it. But then again I understand Eschatology about as
well as the next doomsday prophet. See Principles
versus Plot.
The White Room
(Phil's version): John Strong and I were working on a set of scripts
for a variety show that we were developing the year before film
school. Of all our scripts we ended up producing three of John's
films over the next few years. The White Room, White American Jesus
and The Anti-Pro Satan Club. But I was not to be shut out...
The Last Daze: This script
was written the night before Labor Day when John, myself and two
of our film school friends wanted to go out and shoot a video for
the fun of it. Ironically, this video shoot done in the beginning
of film school was the only script of mine produced while in film
school. Not so ironically it still sits unfinished on my hard drive.
But hey, the script is now on the internet.
I do have feature length scripts that I are finished but seeing
that I would like to sell or produce them someday I don't want to
leave them on the Internet. E-mail me and I'll send you the file
as long as you cut me in on it if you sell it.
